I am a Registered Nurse with a unique background and varied work history. I was led to nursing because of my experience as a caretaker for my daughter with disabilities. I have nursing experience with the elderly, pediatrics, home care and hospice, as well as teaching. I also have a passion for natural health and traditional healing modalities, which influences my nursing practice and my lifestyle. True North Health Care’s values resonate very closely with my own, making my position here a natural fit. I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute something to this organization that I love and believe in. I am currently serving as Clinic Co-coordinator, a title that encompasses many duties, and as our practice evolves, so will my role at True North.

I’ve lived in the Bemidji area for nearly 20 years, out in the country with my partner, our three kids, 4 dogs and 3 cats. I have many interests including cooking, making art, interior design, dance, playing the mandolin, reading, hosting events, yoga, homeschooling, and travel. I am grateful for the full and rich life I’ve been blessed with, including our diverse and loving community of family and friends, and the breathtaking beauty of our outdoor surroundings. Life is good, and I’m glad to be here.
